St Augustine Annual Christmas Tour of Homes

If you visit the Old City for Christmas St Augustine in early December you can enjoy one of the oldest traditions, the Annual Christmas Tour of Homes which parades through areas of St Augustine near Maria Sanchez Lake, the Bayfront, and South St George Street. Sponsored by the Garden Club of St Augustine, the homes that are decorated and presented on the tour of homes are historic homes built in the late 19th century and early part of the 20th century when St Augustine was enjoying its heyday as a resort for the wealthy.

The Christmas Parade in St Augustine takes place every year in early December. St Augustine Wine for the Holidays
Wine for the Holidays is a recent addition to the growing list of St Augustine Christmas Events that take place annually in the Old City. Guests can visit the Government House in the Colonial Spanish Quarter and enjoy hors d'oeuvres, wine, spiced eggnog and watch as the Colonial Militia reenacts a traditional lighting and march to the City Gate.

Holiday Regatta of Lights St Augustine Boat Parade
During the Holiday Regatta of Lights Boat Parade in St. Augustine Fla. boats anchored about in the Matanzas Bay, from the Bridge of Lions all the way to the Castillo de San Marcos adorn themselves with lights. The dazzling display of 15- to 18-foot sailboats, shrimp boats and liners is a wonderful sight to see.

Each year, it takes place in late December just before Christmas Eve at the Cathedral Basilica.

Taking place on the Beach at St Augustine, the Beach Blast Fire & Ice Chili Cookoff is a great time right around the holidays that capitalizes on the amazing weather that the Old City has year round. Twelfth Night Ball - Feast of the Epiphany
